Agora’s model cars are created in 1:8 scale, which we see as an optimum size for model hobbyists and enthusiasts. With 1½ inches (38.1 mm) of your model representing 1 foot (30.5 cm) of the real car, the finished model will be impressively imposing and sure to be a focal point of any room.
Many model makers enjoy working at this scale, since it requires skill for the intricate parts of the model, without the finished model losing any of its presence. Working at this scale also leads to a great appreciation for the engineering behind the real car, as you will be able to delve deep into the inner workings and mechanics that make up these magnificent automobiles.

With only one 1967 Shelby GT500 Super Snake in existence, a scale model is a great way to feel closer to this extraordinary vehicle.
Creating a 1:8 scale model allows you to see even the finest of details, from the stitching in the seats to the numbers on the instrument dial, making it a truly immersive experience, and almost as close as you can come to working on the original.
Will you be making any British classic vehicles in the future?
I’m currently building Hachette’s Classic Routemaster Bus in 1/12 scale .. and would love a late 50’s or early 60’s British Classic Car to go with it …something like a Morris Minor or a 1100/1300 (was made in Morris/Austin/MG/Vanden Plas & Wolseley Versions and as a Riley Kestral) would love a Wolseley 1100 Mk 1 as that’s what my late father bought in 1966 to replace his 1953 Morris Minor
Mark 1 Capri, perhaps a Prahna as marketed by Basil Green motors in South Africa,Mark 1 Lotus Cortina,Escort,Transit…we need more European Fords in 1/8 please. And Captain Scarlets SPV.
Mk 1 RS2000
Please
I agree with you. I would love an 80s collection, a Mk3 Escort XR3i or RS1600i, even a S1 Turbo…
One word: Duesenberg
I agree David! AGORA could make an outstanding 1:8 scale Duesey that no one else has yet done. Clark Gable’s 1935 SSJ would be my pick!
Maybe a Saab classic in 1/8…..there are many fanatic admirors word wide and none on that scale…..the 900s have a dream turbo engine and interesting interior design.
Second word : Duesenberg
It must be great a pre-war classic car in the scale 1/8
Would love to see AGORA make a 1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. While the 427 Cobra S/C roadster is a fantastic model, Shelby made hundreds of roadsters including the 289s, but only 6 Daytona Coupes – the only American made car to win the FIA World Manufacturers Championship! Any Cobra fan would absolutely love this model in 1:8 scale.
