The Porsche 917 is a racing legend – the most powerful and fastest Porsche race car to date with an air-cooled twelve-cylinder engine whose power in 1970 was an imposing 580 hp at 8,300 rpm. With an impressive racing record, the 917 is responsible for turning the German brand into a force that dominated the endurance racing scene from the early 1970s until the mid-1990s.
The number 20 car is famously featured in Steve McQueen’s ground-breaking 1971 Le Mans movie.
Your Model
This stunning replica model is made from the highest quality materials and measures 53cm. It has working lights, a steering wheel that turns the front wheels and engine sounds. The bodywork is made from die-cast metal and spray painted with Gulf Oil’s famous sky-blue and orange livery and ‘Number 20’ detailing as seen in the Le Mans movie. No painting is required as all parts come fully painted.

Your model comes in approximately 600 quality parts with in-depth build instructions which are free to download from us at any time.
Initial payment is of £49.99 followed by £99.99 per month. This is a monthly instalment plan over 12 months. We will send you a box containing all your first parts to get you started. Following this, you will be sent a box containing your next model parts every month for 11 months, your card will be charged monthly.
Note for Pre-orders: Any orders received before May 2022 will be sent Pack 1 in March ’22 and Pack 2 in May ’22.
Pack 3 will be delivered in July ’22 and the remaining Packs 4-12 will be monthly thereafter.
