Agora’s model cars are created in 1:8 scale, which we see as an optimum size for model hobbyists and enthusiasts. With 1½ inches (38.1 mm) of your model representing 1 foot (30.5 cm) of the real car, the finished model will be impressively imposing and sure to be a focal point of any room.

Many model makers enjoy working at this scale, since it requires skill for the intricate parts of the model, without the finished model losing any of its presence. Working at this scale also leads to a great appreciation for the engineering behind the real car, as you will be able to delve deep into the inner workings and mechanics that make up these magnificent automobiles.

With only one 1967 Shelby GT500 Super Snake in existence, a scale model is a great way to feel closer to this extraordinary vehicle.

Creating a 1:8 scale model allows you to see even the finest of details, from the stitching in the seats to the numbers on the instrument dial, making it a truly immersive experience, and almost as close as you can come to working on the original.

This company looks very exciting and I am looking forward to what’s to come. I am currently building the Routemaster by harchett which is my first partwork. I have throughly enjoyed doing this build and have become a bit addicted to these builds. I have signed up to the delorean and ecto1, but once the Routemaster is done I will be keeping an eye out on this site.
