Description
The Car
First unveiled to the world in 1961 at the Geneva and New York motor shows, the XK-E, went on to become an enduring icon of the 1960s. The Open-Two-Seater embodied everything about the freedom and glamour of the era. The earliest versions of this classic car had distinct features which were not part of later versions such as the ‘flat-floor’ design, the side bonnet locks and the bucket ‘pope hat’ seats, and it also lacked some features such as the inside handle/armrest on the doors.
