First unveiled to the world in 1961 at the Geneva and New York motor shows, the XK-E, went on to become an enduring icon of the 1960s. The Open-Two-Seater embodied everything about the freedom and glamour of the era. The earliest versions of this classic car had distinct features which were not part of later versions such as the ‘flat-floor’ design, the side bonnet locks and the bucket ‘pope hat’ seats, and it also lacked some features such as the inside handle/armrest on the doors.
This beautiful 1:8 scale replica model is made from the highest quality materials and measures 22 inches in length. Characteristic of our big-scale models, this XK-E model has many functioning parts such as working lights, a steering wheel that turns the front wheels, windows that go up and down when the handle is turned, and engine and horn sounds. The bodywork is made from die-cast metal and spray painted in a head-turning Jaguar red. No painting is required as all parts come fully painted.
